If it’s something out of the ordinary you’re after, or have a creative streak look no further than Cherryl Baker from The Dreaded Beast at the markets
Here at this alternative stall you’ll find a range of Dread Locking services, along with arts, crafts, chokers, jewellery, shoes, dreadlock accessories, boots, wands, artworks and so much more. The brainchild of Cherryl and her sister-in-law Jo, everything on the stall is homemade

Lets find out more about this quirky business:
Do you have to have long hair for dreadlocks?
You don’t need to have long hair to have dreadlocks, you just need reasonable length and using extensions we can help give you the look you want
How long have you been doing this for?
I’ve been making arts and crafts for years, so it was just a natural progression for us to have a stall at the markets around the area and we’ve been doing it for a year, maybe a bit more now
What do you like about the markets?
I only really do Springfield and there’s a lot of foot traffic here. It’s really good and there’s lots of interest in our products because they’re always different and a bit out of the ordinary
What do you love about your business?
It’s about creating things, that’s what I love about it. Everything on the stall is stuff we create and love
