Why did you create your business?
Being a hairdresser of 26 years that owns salons, I couldn’t find a candle that gave me the results I wanted. The smells weren’t lasting long or weren’t very strong, so I decided to try and make my own so after some trial and error Nikki & Co QLD was born!
What do you sell?
Around 8 months. I just love the atmosphere and chatting with the other stall holders. It’s also good exposure of my products
How long have you been doing Markets for?
All the time we get people who have had no luck with plants, confessing to us that they’re plant killers. We do have some start plants that are aimed at beginners and even have an SOS Helpline where they can call us anytime & ask advice so that they can allow your plants to grow & flourish!
Whats your most popular item?
I don’t think I can name just one product, they’re all really popular within the community
What would you tell someone whose just starting their business?
Believe in yourself, Set yourself a realistic goal and a plan to follow, its okay if you stray but it’s good to have an idea of what you want to do. You have to be passionate about your product and really give it a go
Why do you think customers keep coming back?
I believe it’s because of the good quality that people get when buying my candles. They get their moneys worth out of it which is what people want
